A highly regarded Collaboration Coach and Senior Faculty at SMC, Mr. K S Sarma conducted a two-day workshop on Attitudinal Intelligence at the Kerala Management Association (KMA), Kochi, on 19 and 20 August 2026.
Twenty-five participants from diverse companies and a business school actively participated in the workshop that focused on developing greater awareness of one’s attitudes and their influence on personal effectiveness, relationships and performance. A significant part of the programme was based on experiential learning. Through a series of carefully designed activities, participants experienced situations that enabled them to discover and reflect on important aspects of attitudinal intelligence. The learning from these experiences was further reinforced through facilitated discussions and reflection.
Participants appreciated the practical relevance of the learning, observing that the insights and skills acquired could be applied not only in the workplace but also in family and community life. The programme highlighted how greater attitudinal awareness can contribute to enhanced productivity, better relationships, greater peace and a more fulfilling life.
The participant feedback was highly positive: about 60% rated the workshop as “Excellent” 30% as “Very Good”, while the remaining 10% rated it as “Good”.
The workshop provided participants with an opportunity to pause, reflect and examine how their attitudes shape their responses, relationships and results—making the learning relevant both professionally and personally.
