SMC’s lead trainer, Dr. Umar was invited by the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, to deliver a talk on ADR at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics – Palasamudram.

He delivered workshop based session, encouraging the young Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers to adopt ADR ADR-based dispute resolution approach while leading their respective departments.

Particular emphasis was laid on the utility of mediation in resolving revenue cases, something that can save a huge amount of resources for the government and private parties as they battle out cases in tedious litigation or arbitrations.
